Children and Young People
Children & Young People
Each Sunday, except the first Sunday of the
month when we all meet together for Family
Service, the children and young people of
St Margaret's take part in a range of activities.
All the children meet in church at 10am and
take part in the first few minutes of the
service, before leaving for their own activities.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders is for older children up to the
age of 14 (school years 6 to 9). On the 1st and
3rd Sundays we take part in the church service.
On 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays the group goes
to the Douglas Brown Room. We think about
God and Jesus and learn about him in
interesting ways.
Sunday school
Sunday School is for younger children
between the ages of 3 and 9. All are welcome
and we do a variety of activities from painting,
designing, cooking, making wall hangings
for the church to listening to stories and
learning songs.
Creche
This meets at 10am in the bottom hall where
there is play space for babies on the move
and toddlers. (Babies are also very welcome
in Church) New volunteers for the rota are
always welcome.
Babies and children of any age are welcome to stay in
church for the duration of the service if
preferred. There is a box of children's books
at the back of church for shared use.
